The public face of Muranga OS
A read-only, no-account surface that exposes the slice of Muranga OS records each tenant has explicitly authorised for public verification.
What this portal is
Muranga OS is a sovereign nature-tech platform for the SADC region. It runs the data infrastructure behind tree stewardship, traditional-knowledge attribution, lab-tested medicinal lots, healer royalty accruals and ESG disclosures. The Public Provenance Portal is the public face of those records — anyone holding a valid share token or scanning a Muranga QR code can resolve it here.
What this portal is not
- It is not an authentication surface. There are no logins, no cookies, no PII.
- It is not a marketplace. Commercial activity is governed by the issuing tenant under their bioprospecting permits.
- It is not the Muranga OS dashboard. Tenant operators sign in at
app.muranga.earth; this portal serves their public-facing share links.
Who runs it
The portal is operated by Muranga OS as part of the platform. Each public record is attributed to the issuing tenant via a decentralised identifier (DID); the public page only ever reveals fields the tenant's data steward has explicitly published.
How records are kept honest
Every public payload is bound to an append-only IKS ledger hash. The previous-hash chain means tampering with any record produces a mismatch downstream that any auditor can detect without our cooperation. Lots additionally include a Merkle root over the contributor list, recoverable from the public page alone.
